Over the past 3 years I have worked with acrylic paint on canvass to capture various scenes – landscapes, buildings cars- found locally and on worldly travels.
Judy enjoys drawing and painting old relics like abandoned buildings and old rusting cars or trucks left in peoples yards or bushes.
Donald Corbett paints mostly landscapes because he is continuously awe struck by nature and the Universe.
Have you ever been moved so intensely by the breathtaking beauty of nature? It is this precise feeling that inspires me to paint.
I am mainly self-taught but have studied watercolour with Peter Hebner of Loyalist College, Art Cunanen of the Toronto Watercolour Society, and the late Fran Rutke of Parry Sound.
The inspiration for my work comes mainly from my surroundings and definitely I could not be in a better place to be inspired, every moment of the day brings on new ideas for new paintings.
Fretwell likes to capture the soul or essence in her landscapes, portraits, wildlife flora and fauna, and abstracts.
